This place does Japanese AND Thai food?! So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their spicy tuna and imitation crab crispy rice, dragon roll, and chicken pad Thai to try. The spicy tuna was smooth, not fishy, not really spicy, and pretty limey. The imitation crab mixture was mellow, not fishy or stringy, and was a little mayoy. The rice on the bottom was lightly crispity crunchity and chewy. The dragon roll was filled with more of that imitation crab mix and crunchy briney not fishy masago and was topped with a thin layer of creamy avocado, fatty skin on eel, and sweet drizzle. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the eel skin. The pad Thai came fresh crunchy iceberg lettuce topped with like a peanut sauce dressing. The pad Thai itself was nicely sweet, savory, and tangy and had chewy springy rice noodles, crunchy bean sprouts and a decent amount of a bit dry chicken breast, egg, and bean curd. They’re family owned, everyone here is super nice, and everything tasted really fresh, clean, and not fishy which I like. Overall this place is lowkey pretty good. I came here for lunch with my service dog and they were very accommodating. I love Thai and Japanese, and checked their website...and I was not disappointed...I ordered the Chirashi lunch, the fried tofu, larb...and got an eggplant delight appetizer (that I nibbled on already), a coconut soup and Crispy pork yum to-go, since everything was so good. I am a gourmet chef, former sushi chef and have worked at an excellent Thai restaurant...so I am very critical...and for the price, this place knocked it out the park. The staff was friendly, attentive, patient, and service was prompt. I will definitely be back.

One of our favorite stops in our recent trip to Pasadena. The staff was very helpful, patient and kind. We had questions and they were more than happy to explain and make suggestions even! My son said his Dragon roll was so amazing that he doesn't think he can go back to his usual places and order the same! If we had more time in the area we definitely would have gone back to try more.

We’ve been meaning to try this place - Japanese Thai fusion - our two fave cuisines. But we seem to have stayed on the Japanese side of things. Overall decent. Carpaccio / Karaage / Eggplant Nasu Miso was good. Gindara was OK. Cut like sashimi so it was a bit thin and therefore over seasoned. Friendly staff tho it doesn’t get busy and hectic during rush hour. So things tend to take time. We’ll give it another go next time with the Thai. Til then…

I feel like this place would be a lot more popular if it was in a better location. A really nice restaurant offering a large selection of Japanese and Thai food. I only tried the sushi omakase and it was quite good. Good quality and presentation, with all sorts of different fish. Reasonably priced too, great spot for families and groups.
